- Guided tour of Vienna and Schönbrunn Palace: Along the Ring Road, you’ll admire the architectural showcase of the old Austro-Hungarian monarchy, including the State Opera, the Hofburg Palace, the Natural History Museum, and more. When you arrive at Schönbrunn Palace, you’ll be guided through the numerous rooms of the Habsburgs’ summer residence. Take advantage of some free time to wander through the Palace gardens. The coach will then take you downtown for an occasion to discover Vienna on your own.
- Guided tour of Bratislava: Start off with a panoramic tour, which will take you to Bratislava Castle (outside). The main historical monuments are in the Old Town, and the coach will drop you off at its entrance to continue the visit on foot. You’ll enter the city through Michael’s Gate, the last standing city gate from the Middle Ages. The tour will continue with the Primate’s Palace (outside), and then you will enjoy some free time before returning to the ship.
- Tour of Budapest: This panoramic tour will take you to the Castle quarter, from where you’ll enjoy a fantastic panoramic view of the city, before going down to the plains of Pest. You will visit Heroes’ Square and will pass by the famous Szechenyi thermal baths, the zoo, Vajdahunyad Castle. You will walk through the famous Andrassy Avenue, pass by St. Stephen’s Basilica and walk along the river to see the famous Parliament building.
- Traditional evening in Budapest: Transfer by coach to a theater downtown for a traditional Hungarian show. This show will take you across all the regions of Hungary through its folklore and Gypsy dance and music. After this show, the traditions and folklore of this beautiful country will no longer hold any secrets! Return on board by coach.
- Morning in the Puszta, a World Heritage Site by UNESCO: You’ll be transferred by coach to Kiskunság National Park, where you’ll get the chance to attend an equestrian show while tasting “palinka” (a type of fruit brandy) and some “pogacsa” (small savory buns). You’ll enjoy a ride aboard a charabanc before returning to the ship by coach.
- Guided tour of Novi Sad and Sremski Karlovci: You will travel by coach to Novi Sad, the capital of the autonomous region of Vojvodina and Serbia’s second-largest city. Known as "Petrovaradin" in the past, the town has a rich and turbulent history, having been ruled by Celts, Romans, Turks, and Habsburgs before becoming part of the independent Serbia in 2006. During your walking tour, you'll explore the Austro-Hungarian old town, visit the Episcopal Church, an Orthodox church, Freedom Square, Town Hall and much more. You’ll then head towards the nearby village of Sremski Karlovci, where you'll visit St. Nicholas Cathedral and see the famous Four Lions Fountain.
- Traditional evening in Belgrade: Join your guides for a coach transfer to a hotel in Belgrade for a traditional evening of Serbian culture. Enjoy an hour of captivating dances and songs from various regions of Serbia. After the show, take a pleasant stroll through the bohemian Skadarlija district, known as the "Serbian Montmartre." Return to the ship by coach.
- Guided tour of Belgrade: You'll begin the tour of Belgrade, the capital of Serbia and one of Europe’s oldest cities, with a panoramic coach ride. Located at the meeting point of the Sava and Danube rivers, Belgrade boasts a historic fortress on one of its highest hills. The guided tour will take you past key landmarks such as the National Theatre, Royal Palace, and more, with a stop at the magnificent Orthodox Temple of St. Sava, a work in progress since 1939. After some free time in the city center, you'll visit Kalemegdan Park and its imposing fortress, offering stunning views of the rivers below.
- The Roussenki Valley and rupestrian churches in Ivanovo: You’ll set off by coach with your guides to visit the UNESCO-listed rock-hewn church of Ivanovo in the Roussenki-Lom Valley. This North-Eastern Bulgarian valley is home to numerous churches, chapels, and monasteries carved into the rock by hermits as early as the 12th century. You’ll explore the Church of the Holy Virgin, known for its stunning 14th-century murals, a testament to the Tarnovo School’s artistic skill. The excursion continues with a visit to the Medieval Fortified Town of Cherven, offering panoramic views before you return to the ship by coach.
- Guided tour of Ruse: You'll depart by coach to explore Ruse, one of Bulgaria's largest port cities, founded by the Romans under Emperor Augustus. Once the most important Danube city during the Ottoman Empire, Ruse showcases a blend of Bulgarian and Romanian architectural influences. Accompanied by your guide, you'll admire landmarks like the Dohodno Zdanie (Old Theatre), the Monument of Liberty, and the Catholic Church with its vibrant stained-glass windows. After a pastry and wine tasting, you'll have some free time for shopping before returning to the ship.
- Day excursion to Bucharest: You'll set off on a full-day excursion to explore Bucharest, Romania's capital, meaning 'joy' in Romanian. The guided tour begins with a panoramic overview of Bucharest's key monuments, followed by a traditional Romanian lunch accompanied by lively folk music and dancing. Afterward, continue your exploration of Bucharest, finishing with a photo stop at the impressive Palace of Parliament before heading back to the ship. (Lunch included)
- Guided tour of Constanta: Depart by coach to the beautiful Black Sea coast to reach Constanta. Founded by the Greeks in the 7th century BC, Constanta is now Romania's second-largest port, home to over 560,000 residents. Begin your visit at the Museum of History and Archaeology before discovering the city's architectural gems, including the Roman mosque (outside) and the Orthodox Church. Enjoy a scenic walk along the waterfront to view the majestic Casino architectural, a symbol of Constanta's glamorous past. Finally, enjoy a wine tasting at Murfatlar, Romania's largest winery, before returning to the ship.
