    Upon arrival at Madrid airport, you will be greeted by our local representatives after exiting customs and transferred to your hotel in Madrid. The rest of the day is free for you to relax or begin exploring Madrid.

Today you will cross the Portuguese border and arrive in Viana do Castelo, a quaint city situated where the River Lima meets the sea and some of the freshest seafood is caught daily by local fishwerman. You will enjoy some free time to discover the old town. With its cobbled streets and historic buildings, the old town showcases the magnificent Santa Luzia Basilica, a Byzantine church overlooking the city. Lunch at leisure before departing mid-afternoon to Braga, known as the city of the archbishops.   • Day 5: Porto

    Following your breakfast at the hotel, you will explore Porto, the northern capital of Portugal, with a local guide in the morning. You'll visit the old town, including the historic Ribeira district, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You'll also pass by the 12th-century Porto Cathedral, the Stock Exchange building, and the beautiful Santa Clara Church. Arriving in the early afternoon, you will have free time for lunch and to explore the fortified old town, where you can admire Gothic and Renaissance homes from the 14th-18th centuries.     Breakfast at your hotel. Today, you'll explore Seville, the vibrant capital of Andalusia.     Following breakfast at the hotel, you will head to Granada, the jewel of Andalusia. Regarding your tour guide and coach driver, we suggest to give €40 / person at the end of the tour. What is the average cost of a meal?

This tour includes many meals, which minimizes your expenses at destination. For lunches, in Spain, the price can vary from €10 to €15 depending if you eat light or if you choose a full meal. A little less in Portugal. In Morocco, a lunch is $9 CAD / $6.50 USD on average.

Is it possible to add extra nights?

Yes, you may add extra nights to your package. However, for this tour, we can add nights only in Madrid before or after the tour. Simply make the request with your reservation agent who will change your flights accordingly. We can include the same hotel or you may stay under your own arrangements. The price will be confirmed by your agent depending on availability.

Is the bus equipped with toilets, AC, Wi-fi?

The bus is air-conditioned. Wi-Fi is not available on board. The tour makes frequent rest stops to allow you to go to the bathroom.

How should I dress in Morocco?

Feel free to wear seasonally appropriate clothing, but keep in mind that cultural and religious norms in Morocco tend to be conservative. Tank tops, low-cut or cropped tops, or shorts above the knee should be avoided to avoid unwanted attention. In cooler months, dressing in layers is helpful as indoor/outdoor temperatures can vary greatly.

Currency: Euro and Moroccan Dirham.

Visa: No visa is required for Canadian or US citizens.

Language: Spanish and Arabic (French often spoken in Morocco).

Is it possible to add extra nights?

Yes, you may add extra nights to your package. However, for this tour, we can add nights only in Madrid before or after the tour. Simply make the request with your reservation agent who will change your flights accordingly. We can include the same hotel or you may stay under your own arrangements. The price will be confirmed by your agent depending on availability.

Is the bus equipped with toilets, AC, Wi-fi?

The bus is air-conditioned. Wi-Fi is not available on board. The tour makes frequent rest stops to allow you to go to the bathroom.

How should I dress in Morocco?

Feel free to wear seasonally appropriate clothing, but keep in mind that cultural and religious norms in Morocco tend to be conservative. Tank tops, low-cut or cropped tops, or shorts above the knee should be avoided to avoid unwanted attention. In cooler months, dressing in layers is helpful as indoor/outdoor temperatures can vary greatly.
